Tim Nauss has senior management experience in key international & domestic markets, at property, regional and corporate levels overseeing multi-property assets. A veteran of the hospitality and gaming industry, he has worked with leading groups such as Wynn Resorts, Las Vegas Sands, Wyndham and Hilton. Prior to his current position, he served as Executive Director of Finance, and led the Finance Division's pre-opening efforts for the Wynn Palace project. This was after 4 1/2 years as Director of Finance for Wynn Macau, where accomplishments included cost savings initiatives in the wake of the global downturn in 2008/2009 as well as supporting the Encore Macau opening in 2010.
He spent 3 years with Venetian Macau Limited where he focused on the Cotai Strip development and managed relationships with hotel operators brought in to manage LVS assets, as well as leading the Finance Division in the pre-opening development, and opening for the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel.
At Wyndham, Nauss served as VP of Finance where he headed the Resorts Group representing 60% of the company’s revenue. During his 6 years with the company he assisted in the repositioning of the brand as well as leading the execution of key investments in the highest EBITDA yielding properties to drive bottom line returns. In the management contract division, he was actively involved in managing relationships with owners of hotels. In addition, as chairman of the company’s gaming compliance committee, he worked with senior corporate staff and industry experts to re-tool and update the company’s gaming division.
While at Hilton Hotels Corporation, he held both financial and operational positions. During his tenure, he worked at both property and regional levels. Key accomplishments included openings of hotels in St. Martin, French West Indies, Atlantic City and several properties in Southern California.
